the task of deciphering government documents and legal jargon into something that the general public can understand is not easy, so i guess that’s why they made it into a contest: design for america asks. one of the things that is unique about their concept, is that they are open for ideas from anyone willing to take the time to fully translate government documents for the people.

something similar to this is the death & taxes image from wallstats.com, a comprehensive MASSIVE graphic explaining where your tax money goes, you can zoom in and pan around it to get the full effect on their site:

honestly, there are too many ‘infographics’ like this out there to even begin to share with you.
