modus operandi.

August 20

as a challenge to herself, dutch designer matylda krzykowski, worked on a series of archetype chairs to derail her traditional sense of clean cut minimal form.  the idea here is to take the basic form of a chair and manipulate it through ways which interrupt it’s functional nature and provide the chairs with new contexts.  i know it’s slightly morbid, but i can really appreciate someone challenging their own preference for clean cut design.
