ink calendar.

July 17

what: the ink calendar from london based product designer oscar diaz is a calendar that keeps track of time by controlling the ink bleeding on the paper.

why: using the capillary action  in the pores of the paper to draw the ink throughout the ‘month’, diaz has recconected our senses with the concept of passing time.  the calendar is essentially drawn out as the month progresses, the culmination being all the days of the month being inked.  because the calendar reveals itself over the course of the month, users are allowed to then disconnect from their literal and rigid sense of time.
